About the Art (Yes, We Saw Those Comments)
Some of the art in this version was enhanced with AI—and we get that not everyone’s into that. But here’s the truth: Using AI let us finally bring this world to life the way we always envisioned it—faster, bigger, weirder, and more immersive than what our tiny team could do alone. It gave us the chance to push out more content, more characters, and more visual storytelling this year, not five years from now. Ironically, using AI also slowed us down in some aspects—more detail meant more assets, more rewrites, and hours and hours of photoshopping, layering, and fine tuning. Some of the art was original. So yeah, it’s a double-edged tentacle. But bottom line? We didn’t use AI to cut corners. We used it to get closer to the original vision on a timeline that doesn't keep us all waiting decades. And it’s still evolving—just like the game

It's Wednesday, and that means more updates!

Changelog for 1.03:

  • Attempting to export to Mac
  • Added ‘Skip Intro’ button to the initial loading page. Inventory is reset after intro
  • Quad breast layer is now only shown if 2nd row of breasts has size > 40 (~C cup)
  • In ‘Characters’ window moved cock layers above breasts layers
  • Added ‘Back’ button. Back-up points are created on each morning. Back-ups up to 5 points. Last back-up point persists. All back-up points are reset upon loading a save
  • Mindbroken or choker neck infested characters now don’t contribute to detection increase (only the actions that are done in private)
  • Mindbreak increase from being infected is now capped at 25
  • Midbreak display and mindbreak change on during night passages now display clamped values
  • Added Candy Nook at the mall, a fan-made storyline.  More fan-made content is planned as well.
  • Now choker on crotch removes not protected (no red canal in pussy or blue canal in cock) cock
  • Fixed Sheryl ‘Characters’ layering conditions that cause game crash
  • Fixed issue where choker on neck wouldn’t infest the neck
  • Added Quinn character to the list of characters that appears after a story passage branch
  • Fixed issue where an infested slot that has different infest status from other characters same slot would not be displayed after switching characters (more apparent on load)
  • Added a stub descriptor if attempting to load non-existent image (saves from game crash)
  • Story passages fixes/changes:
  • Max/Darryl ‘Characters’ profile transition to female version happens after choker on crotch is fully assimilated and merged (6 nights for cyan choker)
  • ‘Characters’ profile different sizes breasts clothed
  • Diana sauna infest anus can now take other color variants
  • Michelle red canal infest

Just a personal opinion, but I've already sunk a good few hours exploring the different content of the game, and I think that a "Replacing/Mutating" Mechanic would be nice to have atleast on Savannah, because once im on the current "Mid-Game" I'd like to swap out some of the default werms, their colored variants.

And also, another observation, even though choosing to work on the university yields way more money than at the mall (Roughly 4 times more) i think that it should lower the detection score a little bit more, having both work options provide -7 to detection is nice, and useful, but there are certain points on the playtrough (for example, when getting +5 detection from Michelle and +5 from Michael after they each get their colored worm mutations) where I find it feels "Grindy" to only be able tolower the detection score by choosing both actions during the day just to work, maybe if we could also work during the morning to speed up the process, or there was another "action" in which to spend our time and/or our money in order to decrease detection I believe it could help out with the flow of the daily activities of the game.

Sorry if this was a long comment, but I have been really enjoying the game, and would like to provide my feedback into which kinks I think could be worked on and smoothed out, I look forward to see the evolution of the game throughout the updates :D

We are constantly balancing, but I'll say that the addition of more content and several mechanics currently missing are going to throw off any balancing attempts at the moment

The game keeps crashing when the quest "Kiara's Deviance" proposes me to infect Kiara with a Canal parasite, no matter what color I use

Update 1.02

After years of buildup, anticipation, depraved requests, and messages that should probably be illegal… EARLY ACCESS to PARASITE INFECTION 2 is live. It’s corrupted. It’s incomplete. It’s yours now.

Update 1.02 changes:

  • Now quad breasts events appear after 7 days of using blue starfish. 2nd row of breasts is created on those events
  • Added side menu short display for current money and Savannah mindbreak value. Displays itself on first money or mindbreak change

i'm gonna be honest, i like the first game quite a bit, but 22 dollars is a lot for a sequel that's still in development. if it'll cost more in the future when its closer to finished so be it, but honestly my curiosity on how different this is from the first game is kinda stifled by the asking price rn

for a game still in development like this, it might be a good idea to make a short free demo for it, just something to showcase the differences in art and story from the first, and to get people interested enough to be more willing to pay out for the full version. maybe just showcase one mild-to-medium scene of parasitic sexiness and end on a cliffhanger for more debauchery in the paid version. this is just a suggestion from a longtime player of all kinds of kinky games tho ~ <3

Novel ai is good for the level of Ai, but webui is very good, so you can also use it there. (Because I want to expect the quality of the painting..)

I try to download the game through the Itch launcher and it says no compatible download found.

The normal download works just fine and I haven't had any problems running the game (except for some clarification being nice for the red and blue parasites, and maybe a guide on how to fully infest characters before they mindbreak), just wondering if there are any plans for an Itch Launcher friendly format?

I've never dealt with the itch.io launcher before, but we can certainly take a look at it.  Maybe if we upload the raw .exe it would work.

I guess reviews on Itch aren't publicly viewable, so that's something I learned today. Anyways, this game rocks. I finally got to play it today and it's an improvement on the original in basically every way. Excited for the updates.

In the tutorial there are tooltips that look like [?].  If you hover over them, there's an explanation that should pop up.  I believe based on feedback that in Windows 10, this may not work.  We are changing the hint icons so they display without the hover_text mechanic for the next version.

I really dislike the grain effect and RGB split on most pictures. It does not improve anything.

Aside from that I'm looking forward to later updates to the stories and mechanics.

That's steep, but I've seen what you and the team was capable of when you were using Twine. I believe in some kind of Karma, so just don't let me down. 

For those whining - would any of you like to donate $30,000 of commissions up front? With no product? I thought not. You guys have no idea how and difficult and expensive this really is to deliver to expectation through just commission or contract.

I like it so far, I'm  in part two of unknown amount of parts. It has its early access bugs and the AI work is edited but im not an artist to tell you how much of it is edited. Personally hope it sells well enough that we replace some of the art work with hand drawn but without the OG artist idk if we will ever get it.

For early access, I asked for it to do bug reports. (already found a edge case woo!)
